I could have sworn I commented on this before, I must have forgot but I certainly didin't forget this piece. You know this would be a brilliant way of making you're own greeting cards or something to that effect.
I simply love the colour scheme on it. And those brush srokes that you do for the radio's shadow are just brilliant! I love it also because you actually choose to did the shadow in a very different way. Very clever! This is my favourite images from the series. I can see that the text box are wonky but it's not really a big of deal here. The great color, those lovely splats just so compensate that minor flaw. Another thing though, It seems that you forgot to shadow the right part of the speech buble or is that intentional. Still it doesn't feel right.
The radio looks so vintage and really well-rendered. Again you show a great skill in handling your medium! Good job!
Oh wow I really, really like this. the colours you worked with are so yummie, the splashed are wonderful like noise "splashing" out. Antd the word "bubble " makes me wonder what tune is playing or if the radio can talk. The potential is so great in this picture No I must see more of your art.
Well, we're hoping to get Baked Goods [link] to handle distribution for releases through our label, in which case I'm pretty sure they'll be distributing in the US. We might release a promo (which will have this artwork), but what we're actually hoping to put out is a limited edition art book along with the album.
This is all just cover art at the moment, the art book itself is going to be slightly more concept oriented. We'll be handling all the printing and packaging on our own, so provided everything goes smoothly (which it won't) we should have this out by Christmas.
Obviously, I'll be whoring this project a lot here so you'll get to hear of it's progress but I shall let you know how to get a hold of it once it's out.
Thanks for thinking it's awesome, I have my doubts.
And congratulations, I just read that you got married.
